HTML5 and Mobile: any real applications

HTML5 is getting pretty capable, especially with extensions on mobile that give it the ability to access mobile device functionality. The question is: is this all academic/niche or are there some real apps out there using it? How do HTML5 apps stack up against native apps?

Currently there limitations on what can, and what can’t to an application on HTML5. But this is the beginning only.
Though, if building a reach Android app, I would choose the native way.

Yup, I know there are limitations. It is interesting to see what can be done despite these limitations. Are there apps out there that are developed in HTML5 and are used in production?
